Current Bid Opportunities

The Town of Crossfield posts Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), Invitations to Tender (ITTs), and other competitive procurement opportunities on this page and through Alberta Purchasing Connection.

The Town provides open, fair, and competitive bidding opportunities in accordance with its approved Procurement Policy and applicable trade agreements, seeking best value for the community.

Surplus Asset Sales

The Town of Crossfield disposes of surplus assets in a responsible and transparent manner. Surplus items may include small equipment, office furniture, tools, vehicles, and heavy equipment.

The Town utilizes a variety of disposal methods to ensure operational efficiency and to reduce material sent to landfill, including:

  • Public sale through GovDeals
  • Sale to another municipality or government agency
  • Trade-in toward replacement goods
  • Donation to a registered non-profit or charitable organization (where permitted)
  • Public auction

The Town’s primary platform for public surplus sales is GovDeals.

All procurement activities are conducted in accordance with the Town of Crossfield’s approved Procurement Policy and applicable provincial and federal trade agreements.
