2025 Annual Report

The Town’s Annual Reports provide a comprehensive account of municipal activities over the past year, and how we are progressing on Council’s priorities. These reports serve as the official record of our activities and demonstrate our commitment to openness, transparent governance, responsibility, and continuous improvement.

The Town’s report outlines key initiatives, operational achievements, and financial results, offering residents, and stakeholders a clear understanding of how municipal programs and services are delivered. By presenting this information annually, the Town ensures accountability to the community and supports informed decision‑making for future planning.

The Town’s Strategic Plan sets Council’s direction for the 2025–2029 term, providing a clear and focused path forward while maintaining flexibility in how priorities are achieved. It reflects Council’s commitment to responsible governance, long-term sustainability, and community well-being.

The Plan is built around four key priority areas:
  • Reliable Infrastructure Readiness
  • Calculated Financial Path
  • Responsible Community Growth
  • Safe and Connected Community

Each priority is supported by defined outcomes and strategic focus areas that guide decision-making, investments, and organizational priorities throughout Council’s term.

The Strategic Plan is the foundation of the Town’s corporate planning framework. It outlines what the Town aims to achieve, while the Corporate Business Plan (CBP) will define how Administration will deliver on those priorities.

This integrated approach ensures alignment between Council’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations, connecting plans, policies, budgeting, and resource allocation across the organization.

Following Council endorsement of the Strategic Plan, Administration is developing the Corporate Business Plan to bring the Strategic Plan to life. The CBP will identify key initiatives, set timelines, establish measurable performance indicators, and align the necessary resources and budget.

This framework will:
  • Ensure strong alignment between Council direction and Administration execution
  • Enhance transparency and accountability
  • Integrate planning, budgeting, and service delivery
  • Support ongoing performance monitoring and informed decision-making

Progress on both the Strategic Plan and Corporate Business Plan will be shared through regular corporate reporting, ensuring the community stays informed and engaged.
