Demolitions

Demolition involves the removal of a building or structure, either in whole or in part.

This may include removing an existing building, preparing a site for redevelopment, or removing structural components.

Examples include:
  • Full building demolition
  • Partial demolition for renovation or redevelopment
  • Removal of structural components

Do You Need a Permit?

Yes. A Development Permit is required prior to removing a structure.

Additional approvals may be required based on site conditions and the proposed work.
