Decisions are made by the Development Authority (Town Planning & Development staff) and, in some cases, by the Subdivision and Development Appeal Board (SDAB) following an appeal.

How to Appeal a Decision
If you are affected by a Development Permit decision, you may have the right to appeal.
Important:
- Appeal deadlines are strict and cannot be extended
- Appeals must be submitted before the deadline listed on the Notice of Decision
- Appeals must include clear reasons for the appeal
- The SDAB is independent from Council and Administration
