A Development Permit is required for many types of new development, changes in land and building use, and certain improvements to property within the Town of Crossfield.
Follow the steps below to understand the application process.
1. Book a Pre-application Meeting
Applicants are encouraged to discuss their proposal with the Development & Planning department before submitting an application.
Pre-application meetings help:

Meetings are by appointment only.

If the proposed development complies with the district and regulations, you may proceed with a Development Permit application.

Contact the Planning & Development department if you have questions.

Requirements vary depending on the type and scope of your project. Ensure all required information is included to avoid delays.
